Why I built this
Open-source maintainers already contribute time, judgment, and knowledge. AI tools can help with reviews, tests, documentation, issue triage, and contributor onboarding—but the recurring API bill still lands on the maintainer.
I believe the way to keep open source alive is to leverage AI the way big companies already do. They have budgets for it. Most maintainers do not.
boostmyagents is built that way too. I design, review and decide; AI agents do much of the implementation.
boostmyagents lets the people who depend on a project cover that cost.
Our pledge
These are the commitments boostmyagents makes as a service:
- We never read, record, or sell your prompts.
- We take no sponsorships and run no ads.
- Our only revenue is the 5% platform fee on each boost.
- Boosts that expire unused are not meant to stay with us. We are building a common pool so they go on to fund other open-source developers.
